Privacy Policy

Water is Life is built to be private by design. We believe your hydration data is yours, and the app is engineered so it stays that way.

What we collect

Nothing is sent to us. Water is Life does not require an account and does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or trackers. Your logs, streaks, goals, and settings are stored locally on your device.

Apple Health

If you choose to enable it, the app can write your water intake to Apple Health and read your active energy to adapt your daily goal. This happens on-device through Apple's HealthKit and is never transmitted off your device by us. You can turn it off at any time in Settings.

Game Center

The optional streak leaderboard uses Apple's Game Center. Any identity or ranking information is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy; we do not collect it independently.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not use push servers and do not know when or whether a reminder is delivered.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. There is no data for us to share, because we do not collect it.

Children

Water is Life is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
